Big Bruin publica una comparativa entre seis disipadores para socket 1156 anunciados como silenciosos en su configuración original por sus fabricantes. Los contendientes son: Zalman CNPS10X Quiet, Noctua NH-D14, Thermalright MUX-120, Cooler Master Hyper 212+, Zaward Vapor 120 y Thermaltake Silent 1156. Según la comparativa, no hay uno sino varios ganadores: por ejemplo, de entre los seis, el Noctua es el que mejor refrigera, pero el Cooler Master queda muy cerca y tiene un precio mucho más accesible... y el más silencioso es el Zalman.
